Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't updated in a bit, I've been very busy. For those of you who don't know let me fill you in on what's going on.

Work Mission
As usual 62 people from 3 different churches in our area packing into 9 vehicles and made their way up to Grand Rapids, Michigan. We worked with the Grand Rapids Area Service Project, or GRASP for short. I took two of my best friends and I'm glad they came with. Our groups did lots of great work and really made a change. Talking about nice things is good, but helping people out is so much more rewarding.

Paraguay
So everything seems to be coming together for my trip to Paraguay. I got word recently of the family and the town I will be staying in. I'll leave for Miami, Florida for departure orientation on July 29th. To keep better tabs on what I'm up to while I'm going you can follow my Paraguay blog @ [link]

Graduation
Yesterday was my graduation party. It was lots of fun and I'm glad my friends all came. Tonight is commencement! I can't wait to get my diploma. Finally! No more high school.

Collision
Today while in the parking lot at the doctors office I had a collision with a car. Both of us apparently backed up without seeing each other. Now there's a dent in the back bumper . Hopefully it won't be too expensive to fix. I feel really bad about it.

Camera
I went to the Dodd camera store today to look at cameras.I didn't think I was going to buy anything because their price was more expensive than amazons. Turns out they were having a Canon special where if you buy a qualifying DSLR they give you 200$ off a telephoto lens (normally a 300$ lens). My mom was able to get them to match the amazon.com price so I got the camera for the same price plus I got a really nice lens for only 100$ My new Canon Rebel XSI will be here on Wednesday

Prom
Prom was amazing! I had a great time with Lizzybizzy1992. I'm glad I got to spend my prom with my best friend.

Graduation
I've only got 9 more school days left Graduation is on June 8th. Things are happening so quickly.

Random Jobs
I've been picking up cash here and there from random jobs. Yesterday I worked for Desoto Joe's [link] and soon I'll be doing some yard work for the lady down the street.

New Camera?
With some of the extra money I'm picking up I'm considering getting myself a new DSLR. I would love to have a nice DSLR for Paraguay. Right now I'm considering the Canon Rebel XSI or some other comparable model.

Memorial Day
Went to the memorial day parade as part of the marching band. Lizzybizzy1992 got stung by a bee on the face and as per tradition someone collapsed from heat.

Cedar Point
Cedar Point was awesome. I guess I've gotten over my fear of rides and coasters because I tackled 4 roller coasters. First was Disaster Transport, followed by the Blue Streak, next was the Corkscrew and finally was the Gemini. I enjoyed the Corkscrew so much that we went a second time. I also did some of the spinning rides without losing my lunch.

Senior Award Ceremony
Tonight I went to the senior award ceremony. It was boring. I sat through 2 hours of boring awards for literally 2 seconds of recognition. It took forever.

Prom
Prom is the day after tomorrow!
Can't wait to have a good time.
I may have to wear glasses instead of contacts.

Graduation
Finally starting to send out Grad. party announcements. Graduation is just around the corner.

Paraguay
Things are starting to come together for Paraguay.
